Allen Continues to Focus on Health and Safety Today and Every Day

Allen has been closely monitoring the fast-moving developments of COVID-19 and we want to assure you that we are prepared for a wide range of possible scenarios. We recognize the need to focus on the health and safety of our employees, while continuing to deliver excellent service to our customers and partners. We understand the importance of keeping everyone healthy and are doing our part to mitigate the spread of the virus amongst employees, family members and people in the community.
Along with the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), below are some of the measures Allen has taken:
- Strict adherence to guidelines. We are following guidelines from the CDC for personal prevention techniques. Respiratory etiquette and hand hygiene communications is the norm for all employees, and Allen will provide any employee testing positive for COVID-19, the healthcare and time needed to recover before returning to work.
- Keep employees healthy. We have asked all employees, both those based in our offices and those based in hospitals, to work from home until further notice. Employees must receive executive approval to return to work in a hospital, unless requested by a hospital. Employees showing any sign of acute respiratory illness (i.e. cough, shortness of breath) have been directed to stay home per CDC guidelines. We have also increased our routine environmental cleaning across the offices.
- Limit travel. We have eliminated all company travel except to meet with a specific customer or prospect at their request or to install our essential solutions. While most of our products are serviced remotely today, we will continue to provide onsite services as needed and ensure our employees are asymptomatic when they enter a customer site.
- Keep supplies clean. We are working closely with our vendors and suppliers to follow similar safety guidelines.
